At Holtspur school, we aim for all pupils to become confident and accurate spellers who can apply their knowledge independently across the curriculum. Spelling is taught in line with the National Curriculum and is closely linked to our handwriting and phonics approaches, ensuring consistency in letter formation, transcription and presentation. We use Spelling Shed to provide a structured and progressive approach to spelling. |
