Admission policies for Buckinghamshire schools

All admission enquiries must be submitted to Buckinghamshire Council via their Contact Us form, available here: https://www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools-index/school-admissions/contact-school-admissions/ 

Children are admitted to Holtspur School in the September following their 4th birthday. Applications are made online in the previous January. Priority is given first to children living within the school’s catchment area, then to siblings of pupils already attending the school, and finally by proximity to the school. 

In-year admissions for other age groups are possible when a place becomes available. Applications for in-year places must be made through Buckinghamshire Council, and when a vacancy arises, the same criteria are applied to determine allocation.
