At Holtspur School, teachers strive for academic, technical, and vocational development from all children in Computing. This commitment is reflected in the diverse range of Computing topics that Holtspur students explore, and the amount of child-friendly digital resources at our disposal such as Purple Mash, Times Table Rockstars and Scratch. These not only allow our students to safely delve into various aspects of computing such as programming, digital literacy and online safety, but create an inclusive, inspiring and supportive learning environment. Staff at Holtspur enable their students to remember, integrate and apply essential computing skills not just for academic success but also for lifelong use in an increasingly digital world.  We use cross curricular learning when possible to integrate topics from other subjects into the computing suite, often creating powerpoints, cards and posters. We believe all children will leave Holtspur having achieved the basic computer skills they need to thrive in their future endeavours.
