Students at Holtspur find French language lessons inspiring because they are active and engaging.  Learning begins in Year 3 and the teachers follow lessons planned by Language Angels which has interactive presentations, songs, games and worksheets available in different ability ranges, which ensure all children are included.  There is a focus on active learning, where children are encouraged to join in and try their best which promotes achievement for all children at their individual levels as well as increasing their achievements in phonetics and vocabulary as they progress through the school.

Every summer we hold a French Day in which children experience French food, customs, games, activities, songs, videos and more!
