World Book Day March 24
The children (and staff) have had the most wonderful time celebrating World Book Day this year. The children's outfits were incredible and we were so impressed with the amount of time and effort put into the costumes. Thank you for supporting your children in making a wooden spoon character/ character portrait. Hopefully your children will enjoy spending their £1 book token and remember, these can be used at the book fair that starts on 12th March at school.
Thank you to Mrs Orchard who was the driving force behind World Book Day and to Mrs Bowler who arranged for a very special visit from an editor who helped us understand how a book is story-lined, written, edited and then published - fascinating.
