Claire Farrell, our MindUp advisor, visited the school on Tuesday and spoke to staff and children. We are now ready to launch the 3^rd and 4^th part of the scheme over the course of this term.

Part 3 is all about positive psychology. There are 3 accompanying lessons to this:

1. Perspective taking (looking at situations form different points of view)
2. Choosing optimism (being a glass half-full rather than a half-empty person)
3. Appreciating happy experiences – developing positive habits, learning to be grateful and focussing more on the positive things that happen than the negative.

Your children will be having these lessons over the next few weeks.
