Thank you to everyone who sent in cakes and contributions for our fundraising event, hosted brilliantly by Year 6. It was lovely to see so many parents back in school, enjoying the opportunity to sit down and meet up with other members of the school community whilst raising money for a very deserving charity. Our Year 6 children, along with the Year 6 team of teachers and support staff, put a great deal of work into planning and promoting the event and I’d like to thank them all for doing such a brilliant job. In the process they have gained themselves their first credit towards our newly introduced Year 6 Citizenship Award which I launched with them this week. Details of how much was raised, following the afternoon’s sell off of cakes will be communicated to parents soon!
