Spider Umbrellas
The children took part in a Science experiment with Mrs Orchard where they had to predict, design and make an umbrella for a spider. The aim was to see which materials were waterproof and which materials were better to be used for a particular purpose. They selected their material, made the umbrella and then went outside to test to see if the material they had chosen was waterproof/not waterproof. The children had so much fun doing this activity.
