  • Anti Bullying Week & Odd Socks Day 12th - 16th November

    Fri 09 Nov 2018

Anti bullying Week 2018 is being held between the 12th and 16th November and is organised by Anti-Bullying Alliance. This year the theme is 'Choose Respect'.

The definition of respect: That bullying is a behaviour choice. That we can respectfully disagree with each other i.e. we don’t have to be best friends or always agree with each other but we do have to respect each other. That we all need to choose to respect each other both face to face and online.

Alongside Anti Bullying week on Monday 12th November we are holding an

    ‘Odd Socks Day’

Most importantly, Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity for children to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

There is no pressure on the children to wear the latest fashion or for parents to buy expensive costumes.  All they have to do to take part is wear odd socks to school, it couldn’t be simpler to help raise awareness around respecting difference.
